About Tozen Union
We are a labor union that fights to improve working conditions
for our members through solidarity; regardless of gender, nationality, race, sexual orientation/identity, or political belief.
Tozen Union’s history reaches back to 1956, but in 2010, we became the first ever amalgamated union (godo roso) in Japan to be led by foreigners. We pride ourselves in our hardcore democracy (our union is run by its members not executives) and transparency (our members can see anything).
Since 2016, we have been a member of Rengo Tokyo.
